Hello everyone,
The following is a description of the situation:
My A6, 2.5 TDI with AAT engine stalled while I was driving. The diesel fuel, timing belt, and shut-off solenoid are all in good condition. The error reading using V.A.G.1551 did not reveal any errors.
What could be the reason for this?
Best regards, Schouster.

Hi,
Have you already looked for 'Relais 109'?
Best regards, Rainer.

Unfortunately, no Relias 109 was found.
Relay:
Located at the top of water tanks No. 366, 214, 217, 267, and 239.
in compartment numbers 213, 204, 229, and 202.
Best regards, Schouster.

I think Rainer was just trying to give you a search term, "Relais 109," that would almost perfectly match your error symptoms. And somehow, your EDC is also being powered, probably through a relay. Whether it's called 109 or 0815 doesn't really matter... I think Rainer's guess sounds quite logical, though.
Do you have any wiring diagrams for your car that I could take a look at?
Best regards,
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
"Dirk" Audi A3 Sportback [8PA], 2.0 TDI CR [CFGB], STH mit FB
[VERKAUFT] Polo 6NF 1.4TDI (AMF) mit nachgerüstetem DPF, STH+FFB, Bj. 2000, 222tkm

Unfortunately, I don't have a schematic diagram.
Could someone perhaps check what this relay is called in the AAT / 97 system? Certainly, please provide the text you would like me to translate from German to English. I will provide only the translation.
If this relay is defective, is it still possible to read the error memory? Is the shut-off valve also de-energized in this case? Because it works both mechanically and electrically.
Best regards, Schouster.

The relay is located on the auxiliary relay bracket on the right-hand side of the A-pillar.
If this relay is defective, a diagnosis would no longer be possible.
The warning light will also be without power, as will the fuel injection start timing valve, the EGR valve, the turbocharger boost control valve, the fuel quantity control, the clutch pedal switch, and the brake light switch.

Hello,
For your information.
The timing belt has skipped a tooth!
3 valves damaged.
The repair was performed free of charge by the workshop because you had the timing belts replaced only 3000 kilometers ago. The reason for the skipping is unknown to me.
Best regards, Schouster.

Okay, well, I wish you good luck that it doesn't end up being an oil-guzzler later on, because the piston rings might get stuck (due to the valve and piston colliding).
Furthermore, you should definitely investigate the root cause of the problem, otherwise you'll likely encounter the same issue again in a short amount of time, and potentially with even worse consequences. Were all the idler pulleys replaced the first time, or were corners cut?
What type of workshop performed the change?
