Hello,

My Seat Toledo from 1998 with the AFN engine, 110 horsepower, and 157,000 kilometers is slowly driving me crazy.

It started like this:
'Starts without problems in the morning, but after driving 2 kilometers, I stopped the engine. Two minutes later, it wouldn't start again. So, I drove it home and connected a VAG-COM diagnostic tool, which showed the following errors:'

-765 donors for slide valve travel intermittently.
-01268 Quantity setting, intermittent regulation difference.
where the number 01268 is output twice.

The following has already been done:
new filter cartridge
neue Leitungen zw. Filters and ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator).
Quantity control device dismantled and disassembled (but was absolutely clean, with no metal shavings or anything like that).
back on the line.

After many attempts, it sometimes starts, but after about 5 minutes of idling, if I try to give it gas, it immediately stalls.

VAG-COM in the measuring block group 1, third value (RSW), voltage is 5.040V - isn't that too high?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Yep, around 1.5V is normal when idling.

I think the crux of the matter lies somewhere within this range.

-> Intermittent connection between the pump and the engine control unit / Is the connector loose or defective?
-> electrical defect in the pump (RWG).
-> Is the engine control unit (ECU) faulty?
