hello everyone.

Four weeks ago, I had a chip installed in my A4 1.9 TDI. Recently, the engine electronics warning light has illuminated several times. When I inquired about what it meant, I was told that the chip provides too much power and the engine is receiving too much diesel. A week later, just before the problem was resolved, my catalytic converter started making a rattling noise. I was told that something had come loose inside the catalytic converter and that I would need a new one.
Could it be that the problem is related to a misconfigured chip?

Thank you for your help.
Best regards,

tille

'It sounds like the catalytic converter, or rather its internal components, is about to fail soon... I experienced something similar. I used a hammer and chisel to knock it out from the inside, then briefly opened the throttle, and the rest came out. Now my catalytic converter is empty... It provides a slight increase in power and a bit more exhaust noise, but it runs smoothly without any rattling or loss of performance. In my case, the entire internal structure was pushing against the exhaust flow, which was clogging the catalytic converter.'
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

'cu' translates to 'see you' or 'goodbye' in Spanish. It can also be used as a greeting, similar to 'hi' or 'hello.'
