Just to add, the AAZ engine has 3 outlet channels under the oil flange (engine block), compared to only 2 on the 1.6 (JR or JX). One channel goes directly to the cylinder head, and the oil and water channels are arranged differently. The AAZ has a steel gasket (the JR has a "cardboard" gasket). The AAZ has a smaller intermediate shaft gear, which leads to a higher RPM, resulting in more vacuum at the vacuum pump and more oil flow/pressure (although the drive gear, which is a helical gear on the intermediate shaft for the oil and vacuum pumps, is slightly smaller). The cylinder head cover is attached differently. You can also check out the AAZ project on the Bulliportal website.
