Hello,

Today, while troubleshooting, I started checking the compression, and initially got a reading of 22 bar for cylinder number 4. I'll check the others tomorrow...

Is this still within the acceptable limits?
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

'ete' translates to 'eat' in English.
When I recently removed the cylinder head, I noticed a dried-up puddle in the fourth cylinder. What is this, and where did it come from?

Either the cylinder head gasket is leaking (coolant), or the injector nozzle isn't sealing properly (it's dripping diesel).

Both issues should be resolved before proceeding with further troubleshooting.

Regards,
Sure.

"Guste" means "gust" in English. It can also be used as a verb, meaning "to gust."

"If you have the other compression readings, please let me know. 22 bar seems sufficient, as far as I'm aware, the wear limit is around 19 bar. Normally, it should be somewhere between 25 and 30. It's also important that there aren't significant differences between the individual cylinders; the maximum deviation shouldn't exceed 5 bar."
Make sure everything is done correctly when taking measurements.
