Hello Forum,
I'm planning to buy an LDA from Conrad El. I've read the posts in the forum.
KW-Systems has a nice enclosure, but it's simply too expensive: 49,- Euros + painting.
The best mounting location would be in the A-pillars/left (within view).
Conrad has enclosures available: just with a pivoting joint for 4,-58 Euros.
Has anyone already installed this enclosure? Where?
What does it look like?
What about alternatives?
I would appreciate any opinions/tips on this topic.
Where can I get the Y-piece?
Thanks
Bye and Cheers
Jarek

Hi,
Oettinger offers an alternative solution for installation:
It is a 2-instrument cover for the center console.
The part is inserted in the place where an additional cassette or CD compartment would otherwise be located as an accessory.
However, the part also costs over 40 euros and, if you hold it in your hand, looks cheap, but at least it is leather-covered - well, whoever needs it...
I bought it anyway, and it looks very good installed, especially, the LDA hose can be very elegantly hidden behind it.
For example, Y-pieces can be found in pet stores for aquarium accessories. |
