The pre-production models that arrived at dealerships around May 2003 only had 136 horsepower. I test drove one back then. It also had a different design for the dashboard and climate control compared to the current models. Besides that, I would advise against buying the first models. They had some issues with the cylinder head, belt routing, and suspension, etc. Things started to improve around September 2003.
