Has anyone had experience with chip tuning on vehicles with a dual-clutch transmission?
I'm particularly interested in the Audi A3 2.0 TDI. After a performance increase from 320 to 440 Nm and 185 PS, there's a good chance the DSG transmission could fail, right? I've read in other forums that even with the standard power output, the A3 with a manual transmission sometimes has problems with the clutch. Apparently, there are some models where the clutch components were supplied by different manufacturers and don't work well together. Does anyone know more?
I'm probably better off with a manual transmission if I want to get a chip tune, but I'm still considering the DSG.
Best regards. |
