Hi everyone.

I broke down on the highway a few days ago.
Suddenly, at full throttle, the power cut out and it started smoking heavily. Since then, the engine has only been running on three cylinders.
Okay, new fuel injector installed, and still: --- dead end. Still nothing.
Okay, I just ran a pressure test on my 1Z. Fuel injector.
It was removed and then blown in with compressed air (in the case of OT).
Air is escaping from the crankcase ventilation system.
'That is: a hole in the piston???'

Does anyone have any idea what I should do now? Has anyone ever experienced something like this before?

I was thinking of rebuilding one of the pistons to get it through until winter. Then I'll need to install either an AFN or a Pump Denoise engine, which is something I mentioned in my previous post.

So, what's the best thing for me to do?

Best regards,
The Golfman.

Hi Golfman.

It sounds like you might have a leak from the combustion chamber into the crankcase. But I suppose there's nothing we can do - disassembling it is the only way to find out.
Pistons should always be replaced or balanced in sets.
