Engine Knock at 2000 RPM

Hi,
I had been experiencing this for some time (the weather was bad, and the discomfort was minimal ).
Intermittent power steering failures during maneuvering.
This weekend, it was time for another oil change, and wouldn't you know it - the serpentine belt was also due for replacement.
The belt that drives the pump was very loose (the pump could be turned by hand).
Serpentine belt tensioned, operational / maneuvering - no more power steering failures...
but since last night, I've been hearing a 'rattling' (rrrrrrrrrr - sounds like a loose disc on a
(Wave that is not rotating correctly) has been noticed. The noise is speed-dependent.
and reaches a value in the range of 2000 to 2200 rpm.

Two things came to mind spontaneously.
a) The pump's bearing has been damaged due to the loose belt.
b) The belt itself vibrates or flutters at a certain rotational speed.

b) would, of course, be more pleasant (principle of hope ).

Has anyone else observed similar behavior or noises?

Have you ever replaced the servo belt?
It's the outer part, so it's super easy to replace.

Perhaps it has "dents" from excessive use and can oscillate on the blank side if the speed matches its natural frequency, leading to resonance.

I can't think of anything else to say.
Not after I had completely disassembled my entire trunk searching for a rattle.
I even tightened the front wheel bearing.
It was the middle mounting point on the right-hand rear seat back that broke!

I'm going to go to Grandpa Unger's place now, buy a new belt, and put it on today.
If changing the valve helps - okay; if not, I probably have to replace the pump .

The new belt is installed. The 50km I rode this morning were smooth and trouble-free.
I noticed uneven wear on the flanks of the old belt (in some areas).
stronger than on other occasions) - this could have resulted in fluctuating belt tension.
which then led to the dancing .

When I had the belt removed, I then noticed a slight play in the pump shaft .
It's working fine so far... but in the medium term, I'll probably have to replace it.
