Wiper Arm G3 with MFA - Part Number

I have a windshield wiper lever for a Volkswagen Golf III with Multifunction Display (MFA) here. However, the part number is slightly confusing me.
1H6 953 503 AB

I can't reconcile this number with the parts program.
Perhaps someone can help me figure out if the gear lever is correct for a 1996 Volkswagen Golf Mk3?
