VW Golf 4: Install CZL instead of ALH/DQY?

Hello. My DQY transmission in my Golf IV ALH is giving me trouble... I've now acquired a CZL transmission. According to the MKB and GKB information here, the CZL was also used in the ALH.
"Can anyone tell me if this fits correctly? It definitely appears to be a 02J transmission. However, at first glance, the lever with the counterweight where the shift cables are attached looks slightly different. Additionally, there's a black box with a connector on the counterweight lever, which the DQY transmission doesn't have. I've attached a picture. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to modify it to make it fit? Thanks, best regards, Bernd."
