I know this might not belong in the Diesel forum, but I still want to ask the question.
A Golf 2 GT with a 90 horsepower gasoline engine, manufactured in 1990, has an engine control unit (ECU) installed. It looks like a TDI ECU. Is it possible to modify the performance of the ECU?
A tip would be appreciated.
Olli.
The answer is... no... or rather, almost no. Please do some research on how a naturally aspirated gasoline engine works and what the engine control unit (ECU) is actually capable of controlling. Then, consider whether a variation of these data points can achieve more power.
Not everything that looks like gold is actually gold.
