Glow Plug Light: Meaning & Troubleshooting

Hello,

I have this error in the control unit.
The vehicle is a 1.9 TDI model manufactured in 1996.

Is the fault directly within the AI system, meaning a problem on the tachograph circuit board, or could it be something else that's causing the error message?

By the way, the yellow light always flickers slightly.

Okay... there might have been something in the engine compartment that was causing the light to flicker, and that's a known weak point.
But if it all comes down to AI, I'll probably have to test that out.

In the "Output tests" of the Motor Control Unit (STG), there is a point that turns the lamp on and off. Therefore, you don't need to pre-glow until the battery is empty .
