And that's precisely the main reason why it works: they only use biodiesel.
Biodiesel only causes fuel pumps to leak when a mixture of biodiesel and regular diesel is used. It's not uncommon for a fuel pump to leak with regular diesel but seal properly with biodiesel. This is because biodiesel can cause brittle seals to swell again (after it has initially caused them to leak by washing out the plasticizers).
