Seat clip under driver's seat (Bora 2003)

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with the driver's seat in my 2003 VW Bora Variant.

The day before yesterday, while cleaning the interior of the car, I found a spring clip in the rear footwell under the driver's seat. It appears to be used as a retaining clip for a bolt.

I found the same brackets on both the left and right 'bolt supports' of the seat height adjustment mechanism, but they are present on both sides!

Can anyone give me a tip on how many of these brackets are typically installed on a standard driver's seat, including the height adjustment mechanism, and where they are usually located?
