Hello everyone, I have a 1.9 PD engine with 150 horsepower and 4 motion.

Who can help me???

Since the chip tuning, I've been experiencing the following error:

While in 6th gear at full load, the ESP light starts to illuminate around 3,600 RPM. icon_sad.gif It only turns off again when the ignition is switched off and then on again. icon_question.gif

'When the light is on and the vehicle is stationary, the onboard computer displays a fuel consumption of 2.2 liters per hour. When the vehicle is restarted and the light is off, the 'normal' fuel consumption of 0.7 liters per hour is displayed again.'

The error memory displays the following entries:
17676
17673
17679
17670

Are these entries related to the ESP light? }

Can anyone help me? I would be very grateful for a response.

Hello,

I assume the errors are coming from the engine control unit (ECU) and not from the ABS control unit.

17670: Limit for PD element, cylinder 1, exceeded.
17673: Limit for PD element, cylinder 2, exceeded.
17676: PD element limit for cylinder 3 exceeded.
17679: Limit for PD element, cylinder 4, exceeded.

Normally (without any modifications), this indicates the following:
-Error in the PD element.
- Air in the fuel system.
- Fuel shortage, fuel system malfunction.

Since all the PD elements are showing this error on your vehicle, there might be an issue with the tuning. How much has the engine been tuned?

What errors is the ABS control unit displaying?
Tschüss

Thank you for the response.

I chose a slightly more direct version:

207 hp, 402 Nm icon_cool.gif

Based on your response, it seems that the ESP light does not indicate when the regulatory limit is exceeded, and there isn't necessarily a logical connection between the PD element and the ESP lamp.

I find it hard to believe that the PD elements are underpowered, given this increased performance, or could there be a vacuum somewhere? icon_eek.gif

I don't know which errors the ABS control unit is displaying right now. I'll check it later and post the information here.

See you later...
