All 3 are the same, IMO. At least, all 3 part numbers are embossed on the rubber molded part, and the correct one is indicated by a colored dot.

Okay, so I, as a regular person driving a 6L car, use tires with a center rib, not full solid rubber tires. Are there only solid rubber bushings available now?

The stepped bushings are still available, but they tend to squeak eventually (which is why I replaced them), and they make the suspension less precise for "sporty" drivers.

Ulf, if you could drill holes in the solid ones, you would achieve the best compromise between stability and comfort. You really shouldn't expect much stability from the hollow ones. Are the solid ones too stiff?

Okay, I have the 6LL 407 183 bearings here from Cupra, as expected, it's the solid rubber version. I'm not sure when I'll be able to install them yet, maybe sometime next week. I will report back.

So, I've had the same experiences as ulf.
Cruising along in the city in fifth gear is no longer an option; the whole car will be roaring.
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to ride comfortably between 1000 and 1250 RPM in gears 5 and 6.
I didn't get the impression that the steering precision improved.

Hopefully, these new bushings will last longer than 30,000 km this time.

Hello,

In the Polo 9N platform, the rear transverse link bushings on the front axle are designed as soft rubber shims, which allow for approximately 1 cm of play in the transverse link, both inwards and outwards, and are a source of various clunking and creaking noises.
In the "Damaged Suspension" attachment, you can also see the typical points of failure in the vertical rubber supports (at the top), which may require replacement after only a few tens of thousands of kilometers.

As a solution, solid rubber bushings from the A2 model can be installed. In the 9N.info forum, these bushings are often praised for providing noticeably improved steering precision. Whoever wants to read that: CLICK

I'm now wondering what advantages the Wabbel suspension actually offers, or what subtle (handling-related?) disadvantages one incurs when switching to A2 bearings.

Without having read everything yet.
These rear control arm bearings are comparable to those used in the BMW 3 Series.
There, you can also find open bearings and completely encapsulated bearings, as shown in Figure 2.
The suspension designs are more open to enhance comfort. This allows them to better absorb strong impacts and uneven road surfaces, as the suspension moves smoothly and flexibly. A fully enclosed suspension, on the other hand, provides a stiffer, more stable, and agile ride, but at the expense of comfort. That's why BMW's standard suspension systems are equipped with comfort-oriented suspension components. M-suspension systems have full rubber bushings.

The Audi A3 also comes in two different variants.
