Antenna Connectors: Buy Single Units.

Hello,

I specifically need crimp connectors for:

FAKRA => RAKU (a standard radio antenna connector, not the ISO connector on the radio).
FAKRA => SMB (telephone)

"I recently bought an antenna from a Golf V for my Ibiza, and it's a combination of a shark fin and a standard antenna... My car has the standard RAKU connector at the top of the rear window, and there's an adapter from VW for around €16 to connect it. However, I'd prefer a simple snap-on connector, as it's likely cheaper... I'll have to reroute the antenna cable for the phone anyway, so that's a secondary concern."

Do you know where you can get the individual connectors, and whether it's even possible to buy them separately? I've already searched through all of our ordering systems, and I can't find them.

I cut off both connectors from a B4 Passat belonging to a neighbor and soldered the wires together.
It's a bit of a makeshift job – first, the inner conductor was soldered, then insulated, the outer conductor was soldered with copper wires, and the whole thing was completely shielded again with aluminum foil, and then insulated again. However, it has been working perfectly for years without any problems and with excellent reception.

The cheapest method is if the antenna or its base doesn't need to be removed again in the near future.

"Yes, I had considered that as a temporary solution, but I'm somehow not keen on doing something so "makeshift"... However, I've now even found the original VW connectors individually. The problem is, I'm not sure how well they will fit onto the cable until I place a "test order." It would be the cheapest option at 2€ per connector, as I only need 2 for the antenna, and a 4-meter cable for the hands-free system control unit... so that I can finally have "reception everywhere"."

The reason for the entire replacement is that the threads have stripped for the second time (yes, this poorly designed retractable antenna). The antenna often folds down while driving, and it also constantly makes noise, which is increasingly annoying to me.

She had already replaced it a year ago, but now I'm fed up... Luckily, the new one no longer has that pointless hinge... Whoever knows how to do it can bypass the so-called "anti-theft device" even with the hinge...
