Hi, I bought a Medion Akoya E7212. When I tried to install VCDS Release RKS 805.1 from the disc onto the hard drive, it displayed an error message. What should I do to get it to work?

Thanks, Rainer. I have to laugh at myself. Is the disc still needed if I use a different device, like a new laptop? I'm going to test it directly on the vehicle again.

The CD is actually only for the initial installation.
Otherwise, all software installation packages are available for download in the shop.
