Hello,

Last week, I bought an engine control unit (ECU) for a Passat 1.9 TDI with engine code 1Z from an online marketplace. (It has a 'Nothelle' seal on the ECU.)
Now, I am experiencing the following problems.
During the first test drive, I noticed that the engine was producing a lot of black smoke, but it actually had significantly more power.
Then I installed a boost pressure gauge in front of the engine control unit, and it showed that the boost pressure was not increasing, while it was supposed to be regulated to approximately 850 millibars.

'Has anyone had experience with the Noelle chips? I haven't made any other modifications to the engine, and before, it barely made any noise at all.'
Shouldn't the turbocharger boost pressure also be increased using a chip?

It would be nice if someone could help me here.

Hi!
Is there actually no support for third-party tuning or other VCDS distributions in this forum?
2) Either Nothelle programmed something incorrectly, or the iBäh control unit was sold with a defect.

I can only really advise you on two things. Either get a sensible tuning done (if you're here...)
If you want support (from Rainer), or if you want to use the old STG and run at the standard power level.
until the car finally gives up the ghost.

Best regards,
Micha

How about asking the chip manufacturer?
