Vag-Com: Climate Issues & Troubleshooting.

Hello fellow mechanics.

I tried using the search function and read the article, but unfortunately, I didn't find what I was looking for.

Regarding my issue:

I wanted to test if my air conditioning system was working when the weather got warmer, but I was very disappointed. Although the indicator light for the AC is on, the compressor doesn't engage, and the fans aren't turning on either.

I then used VAG-Com to check for any error codes in the climate control unit, but no errors were recorded.
During the login process, the initial measurement block indicated that the climate control system is being activated. The fuse is also okay.

I heard that in such cases, a fuel pressure that is too low can be the cause.

Does anyone happen to know which measurement block displays the pressure?

It depends on your specific model. Mine doesn't show any pressure reading as far as I can tell, while my friend's 2001 model displays it in VAGCOM, and it's labeled as 'pressure.'

Pressure readings won't help you assess the performance of your climate control system. At best, they can tell you if it shut down due to a complete pressure loss. However, that should leave an error message.

Otherwise, the exact amount can only be determined by extracting and refilling.
