Question about Jaeger E-Satz Coding Audi A6 4F

(PRE-2006 2.0 TDI)

To Point 1: Registering the control unit on the CAN bus - completed
To point 2 - nothing done as the control unit is not diagnosable
To point 3 - Trailer Stabilization - I also did this because the Jaeger steering system is supposedly designed to support it. However, I'm not entirely sure if this is actually the standard practice. Do you know this?

To setting point 4 PDC - is this superfluous if you have a detachable tow hitch? - Isn't this just about setting the distance to the obstacle? Or am I misunderstanding? An automatic PDC (Parking Assist) deactivation with the Jaeger Stg. (stage) should not function.

To point 5 - I didn't work on the engine because it's a 2.0 TDI
To point 6 - I haven't
To point 7 - I didn't either

After that, I also cleared the error memory. Perhaps someone could provide further information regarding the open points...

Regarding point 3: There is a sensor block in the ABS/ESP control unit that indicates whether a trailer has been attached and would then regulate accordingly (MWB 10?, but I'm not sure).

Regarding point 4: If you remove the detachable every time the hook is removed, then this is unnecessary. But it also doesn't hurt to simply encode.

Whether the Jäger-STG does not support PDC shutdown is not something I am aware of. Just try coding it into the PDC and see if any errors are introduced, or if it might actually work.
