Hello,
During my search in this forum, I unfortunately only found information about the opposite problem – that the performance suddenly drops at high RPM.
"For the past few days, I've observed the following behavior in my 90hp 1Z:"
The car starts easily, but feels very sluggish when driving (it feels really slow, like it only has 50 horsepower or something). The turbo doesn't seem to kick in until around 2200 RPM; above that, the vehicle returns to normal operation.
Here's some background information: About a month ago, the diesel filter was replaced due to performance issues and the engine going into limp mode at high RPM. During the process, the hose connecting the air filter to the control unit was also replaced because it was evident that a badger had chewed on it.
The AGR (Abgasrückführung system) can be ruled out at this point - it has already been sealed.
Tomorrow, I will have the error codes read.
Please share some ideas with me about where else I could search, or how I could exclude certain parts.

How? Using a hose doesn't always lead to success. MfG. Michael

The AGR valve is sealed with metal plates (approximately 2mm thick). I inspected the plates yesterday because they had been in place for a while and replaced them.
The old part was somehow rusted, and I was able to pierce it with the screwdriver...
Update: Today, the error memory was checked, but unfortunately, there were no entries, and therefore no indication of a possible cause of the problem!

Briefly test the magnetic valves using a manual actuator to see if they are functioning correctly.
It might also be worth replacing all the vacuum lines for the solenoid valves, as it's not very expensive. Sometimes you can't tell that the things have been gnawed on by the nasty little weasel (also known as a marten in professional circles).

The problem has been resolved - the AGR valve has now been sealed again with a plate directly on the engine block. Also, all the vacuum hoses and the air filter are new. Another vacuum valve was also tried.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read about my problem .

Then, please repair or replace the AGR (Automatic Gearbox Restriction) system.
