Hello,
I have a few questions and problems that have accumulated, and I'm wondering if there's a simple solution that would meet my expectations.
For a long time, I've been bothered by the inaccurate speedometer that displays the actual speed. At approximately 50 km/h as indicated, the GPS shows 44 km/h; at 100 km/h indicated, the GPS shows 91 km/h; and at 200 km/h indicated, the GPS shows 188 km/h.
Is there a simpler way to adjust it than by disassembling the instrument cluster and twisting the speedometer needle (assuming nothing gets damaged in the process)?
I was wondering if it's possible to change the number of mileage intervals via OBD, and whether those values would be customizable.
Second problem: The interval of the rear wiper is so short, even in normal rain, that the wiper smears more than it actually wipes.
How can the interval be changed without a new relay?
And finally, the current problem is the accurate, but for me, premature display of the oil change and service intervals. I've been driving the Fabia much less frequently lately, so I'm hardly reaching the 15,000 km per year.
My Fabia doesn't have the maintenance interval indicator (WIV) yet. I wanted to extend the oil change interval to 2 years, so that the warning light wouldn't come on until at least after 15,000 km or 2 years.
Combination instrument: 6Y1 919 880 D, coding 16141.
Currently, there is something in the channel.
05, the value on 15.
06 - the value on 30.
07 The value is 12 (shouldn't the value be 36 = 360 days?).
According to (today's) data, the values in the channel are:
10. Value at 150 (previously 49).
11 value at 300 (199)
12 out of 36 (9)
Would changing channel 07 to 72 result in the desired change?
Where is the maximum time limit specified for the 30000 km service, since it is supposed to be carried out every 2 years?
Thank you. Fabia 1.9 Combi, Bj. 2001,ATD Euro 3
