Vento Center Console: Parts & Accessories

Hello everyone!

'Does anyone here who owns a VW Vento know if there's a center console available for it, similar to what you find in Mercedes cars? I'm talking about a raised console with an armrest, not just a separate armrest that's bolted on, but one that's integrated and maybe has a compartment underneath.'

So, if anyone has experienced something like this or knows someone who has, please share your experiences.

Yes, something like that exists, specifically for the US version of the Golf/Vento. It's an original VW part and costs around 80 Euros, I believe. Additionally, it includes a cup holder for the rear passengers.
If it's not explicitly included (or in the case of VW), you will still need the following parts:
1x "Leather strap" over the handbrake (you'll understand it best when you see it, as there's more space around the handbrake and a leather covering is integrated there).
1x Mounting bracket (otherwise you won't be able to attach the console to the back).

Both options should be available at VW.

I have this center console!

Here are a few notes:

- You cannot rest your arm on the console (it's too far back and too deep).

- It cost €7.80 in late 2002 (yes, seven euros and eighty cents - it was a computer error), but now it costs €100.
- These leather stockings are NOT sold individually .
- Some consoles came with socks included.
- You can build the bracket yourself (the original one would probably need to be cut to size anyway).

I think it's too expensive for me.
