Perhaps install a power brick or a similar device with a new battery that counteracts sulfation and thus the main cause of battery aging?
I have this device in my 206, and I've had it in two other vehicles before. Just to remind you, the battery (Varta Silver) in my 206 is from 2005 (!), and the car is from 2006. So far, she's doing it... Automobile Zeitzeugen: |SUZUKI Swift Sport (2008)| |Smart 450 (2002)| |Kymco Heroism 125 (1997)|

Teileman and the head of the department were very surprised by the early death.
Above all, the still green, magical-looking eyes made her suspicious - but it's only "looking" at one cell.
Well, let's see how long the new one lasts.

I just skimmed through the thread, and well... with batteries, you can have a lot of luck, but also a lot of bad luck.
My parents owned an Audi 80 B3, and it was the first owner's car.
The battery in this Audi has ALWAYS worked from 1989 to 2003. Summer or winter.
In 2003, we turned in the car for a new one, and it still had the original factory battery.
By the way, it was a 55AH VAG battery (probably Varta at the time).
In the new car, a Passat 3BG with a factory-installed 44AH Banner battery, the battery had already stopped working properly after just under 2 years. It sat overnight, and in the morning, it wouldn't start.
A Moll M3 has been installed in that Passat for the past 5 years!
I personally have a ... I have no idea... in my Audi A6 2.5 TDI (C4). Brand with 60AH and 600A cold cranking current.
Have you seen anything with a +30% calcium boost?
So far, I haven't had any problems with it.

"In my 2003 Leon, I originally had a Varta battery, which I replaced with a new Banner battery a year and a half ago. The new Banner battery was just as dead as the old Varta. I put up with the weak Banner battery for a year, until I finally got fed up and, after a long and fruitless battle with Banner, went to the dealer, who quickly approved the warranty. I received a Varta battery in return." Banner is really the worst; they promised improvements, but I don't believe those crooks anymore.
The original Varta battery, despite being used in a 2004 Ibiza and experiencing a lot of short trips, still provides excellent starting performance. That's quality. 2010 Caddy kombi life 103 tdisg6 BMM KXW
