I can't believe it, it's all apparently psychology!
The BMR reached 1.03 seconds, while the BLS reached 0.98 seconds (with a lead time of 0.25 and 0.23 seconds, respectively).
Only the BMR shows signs of work, namely the two steps, until it starts at the third compression.
However, I must also say that the BLS didn't exactly show its best side today.
The trick at the end of the BMR is to slip the clutch.

I remember that it used to turn on _immediately_, but now it needs some fiddling.
And the reason for that, I am still looking for.
You didn't say whether he wasn't starting fast enough, or whether he was starting quickly but taking too long to fully start.
If the engine starts quickly but requires a longer cranking time and then produces excessive smoke from the exhaust, one or two glow plugs may be faulty.

Our cars are complaining about a faulty glow plug.
It also seems that the boxes are more likely to pop open in cold weather.
@ Martin, how do I create a proper, usable log?
I also have a Lambda Log, but I can't seem to create a diagram like that.
Last week, I had no problems starting the car, but perhaps the battery didn't have enough power to reach the starting speed.
Does the BMR system generally only start injecting fuel at a certain engine speed?
I've noticed that when I let the engine idle and the RPMs drop, the engine immediately stalls.
With my old car, in that situation, I would quickly press the clutch and the engine would "kick back" and start again, but with the BMR (likely referring to a specific system or mode), it immediately shuts off.
Is there perhaps a connection?
