Address 02: Transmission Label file: RKS\01V-927-156.lbl
Control unit part number: 3B0 927 156 L.
Component and/or version: AG5 01V 2.5l TDI, Roadworthy, production date 9404.
Encoding: 00000
Company number: WSC 00000
VCID: 2F67636DC786
"One error found:"
18265 - Malfunction indicator light: Error message from the engine control unit.
P1857 - 35-10 - - - Sporadic
The transmission only works for a short time, then it jerks, and then it goes into emergency mode.
The fuel injection pump is new and has an error: "Injection start timing difference." However, the pump is set to Top Dead Center (TDC) and is within the tolerance of 1.6 degrees before TDC. What could be broken? I'm at a loss.

Is there an error code stored in the engine control unit (ECU)?
Otherwise, I would check the cable from the alternator to determine the generator's load. T5 California (CFCA) 4Motion

G4 (ASZ), T4 (AXG)

The load signal error is not related to the Lima (alternator), but rather to the load itself, such as torque, etc. In the case of V6/TT5 engines specifically, also check the mass airflow sensor (MAF).

Hello,
"I've now found and fixed the problem. I had some old summer diesel fuel in the tank because the vehicle had been sitting for a long time and wasn't put back into operation until the end of October. Now that I've removed everything (siphoned it out), replaced the filters, and bled the system, it's running perfectly, and there are no more error messages in the MST (diagnostic system). I was misled because a new fuel injection pump had been installed just 300 km ago. I thought it was faulty again and attributed the error in the MST (a "regulation difference" error) to it. Well, now everything is fine again."

Hello.
Sorry for the typos. MST stands for Motor Steuergerät (Engine Control Unit).

"I'm now driving 30 to 50 km every day, and so far I haven't experienced any more jerking or erratic shifting. In my opinion, that was actually the problem. I'm lucky again."
