A good colleague drives an LT35 from the year 2001.
The engine is a 2.8L CR TDI with an output of 116 kW, and its engine code is AUH.

LD is slightly below the target value (maximum 300 hPa). Whether this is "normal" for LTs is a good question.
The new LLMs all provide sufficient air mass (more often than not, an excess amount).

Only the mass airflow sensor (MAF) from my Octavia has a limit of 150.
Regarding the 3000 rpm limit, I have two ideas. Either the air mass remains within the valid range.
or the software-based signal processing in the MSTG is performed with different parameters.
so that the dips are filtered out.

I could increase the replacement value in cases of plausibility errors, but that would be more complicated.
a "workaround".

The air mass is far too high; your values would easily be enough for over 210 horsepower, of course, without producing any soot.

Given that such injection quantities are highly unlikely, I am left with two fundamental causes for the problem:
- There's a leak somewhere where air is escaping, but this airflow is being measured by the mass airflow sensor (MAF).
- The wrong mass airflow sensors (MAF) were installed, and the control unit is misinterpreting the input signal.

It may be soot-free, but it certainly doesn't have 210 horsepower icon_mrgreen.gif.

Hmm... why would a leak cause the mass airflow sensor (MAF) to draw in more air than it would under normal operating conditions?

Because the LMM (likely referring to a Lambda Measurement Module) doesn't know the engine speed, and the output voltage always increases with increasing engine speed anyway?

Arbitrary values, just an example:
- 2000 rpm, output voltage 3.0V, actual output 1000 mg/H.
- 4000 rpm, output voltage 4.0V, actual oxygen production: 1000 mg/hour.

Now we are creating a hole in the charge air cooler through which 200mg per unit of time will escape. This corresponds to a fictional voltage change of 0.5V at the mass airflow sensor (MAF). With the same pressure in the charge air system, the same amount of air will always escape through the hole. The engine speed is irrelevant to the hole; it mainly depends on the pressure and the size of the hole.

With "Loch," we get:
- 2000 rpm, output voltage 3.5V.
- 4000 rpm, output voltage 4.5V.

At 2000 rpm, the difference is now 16.7%, but at 4000 rpm, it's only 11.1% voltage difference.

The "dip" becomes less noticeable with increasing engine speeds due to the error detection system. This is because, while a constant amount of air leaks at any given time (x), the total amount of air being drawn into the engine increases significantly with higher engine speeds.
That means that if the leak is wasting 200 mg/hour of air at 2000 rpm, then at 4000 rpm, for example, only 133 mg/hour of "excess" air would be measured.
