Our new acquisition isn't poorly equipped (it has SH and PDC).
However, it lacks a driver's seat height adjustment.

I removed the lifting mechanism from the passenger seat of my Ibiza to save weight, and for that, I needed...
a) a non-adjustable console.
b) the appropriate console cover (both purchased privately).

If it's not already there, could you possibly add the drawer later? As far as I know, the "lift" console trim already has the recess for the drawer.

It's best to inquire about the part numbers with MJ (manufacturer identification) and color codes from VAG (Volkswagen Group), but be prepared, as the prices might be quite high. The cost of new parts for this repair is likely to be around €300-€400 per seat.

Alternative: Buy used seats with a built-in lift mechanism, and then adapt the console(s) and seat drawer(s) from those seats to fit in your Polo.

Does the seat absolutely have to be from a 3-door model (because of the folding mechanism)?
Are the consoles the same for 3-door and 5-door models?
