Hello forum,
Has anyone here ever repaired an adjustable height center console?
Unfortunately, I don't have any photos (I'm already having trouble uploading them). I'll try to explain it from memory.
At the front, on the rotating axis, there are two plastic bushings on either side that tend to wear out over time. To replace them, you would need to cut off the discs and weld them back on, ideally with new ones. To prolong the life of the bushings, it's important to ensure good cooling.
Does anyone happen to have the dimensions of the sockets so I can have them re-threaded?
I once inquired with Seat about it. They wanted around 300 euros for the center console.
That would be almost a complete economic disaster with 355,000 kilometers

.
In addition to that, heated seats, upholstery, and padding would cost an extra 500 euros.
Since I'm currently renovating my house, I would really appreciate any information you can provide, as I'm a bit short on time at the moment.
Best regards,
Jörg
