Hello everyone,
My A4 has been experiencing problems with an oil-stained air intake hose for some time, with the distribution of oil in the engine compartment becoming increasingly pronounced

....
Upon closer inspection, nothing was apparent, but after removing the hose (from the ATL towards the cross pipe) and applying slight bending pressure, the crack at the junction with the quick-release fitting was identified

.
And that's exactly where my little problem begins.
When I retrofitted the new VNT17/GT1749A on my AFN a few years ago, I was able to 'shoot' a used fuel hose from a Passat (3B0 145 828 G) for just âŹ10. I removed the quick-release on the cross-pipe side, and everything went

.
For a new hose, there are three options:
1. 3B0 145 828 G: The quick-release mechanism must be removed
2. 8E0 145 834 M: Does it have a quick release on the side of the cross tube? Does it fit in terms of length and diameter?
3. GT-Adapter from the Admin Shop + old hose: Unfortunately, it is no longer listed. Price?
When I called

today about the 8E0 145 834 M, I nearly fell off my chair: 157 ⏠for this little piece of hose!!!
The 3B0 145 828 G will likely be in the same price range...
From a technical standpoint, I prefer the adapter or the more expensive '8E-hose'. You can rely on VAG parts.
Does the adapter solution have any flow-related disadvantages?
I look forward to your responses.
