Hi.

I have an AFN cover and I want to install it on my 1Z.

"However, as I've seen in many photos, the AFN and the 1Z have different wiring."

1Z moves forward, then to the side.
Go directly to the AFN page.

In the spare parts program, VW cannot track this – they say.

Who can provide part numbers or offer advice?

Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.

Hello.

Okay, since we're talking about wiring harnesses. I converted my engine from a 1Z to an AFN and kept the wiring harness from the 1Z. Are there any differences between them besides the routing? In terms of diameter or anything like that? Anyway, the engine is running.

Sorry, Michael.

I already have the cover!

I need different diesel lines now.

I have the 1Z lines, but they are blocked by the AFN cover.

Both the 1Z and the AFN engines are supposed to have part number 1H0 130 307 AE (GOV MJ 96).

That can't be right, because, as I said, my 1Z lines were never photographed on an AFN.

Or are the AE lines the AFN lines that are now also being built on 1Z platforms?

Oops, or is it the "N" version? (GOV MJ 99)

I can't make sense of this anymore – and especially not Volkswagen!

@ GOlfmann

Sure, they fit. But the exact routing/layout is my problem (see photo).
