I have a fundamental question about the difference between AFN and AHF TDi engines. The background is that I want to equip my T3 bus with a TDi engine. You often read online that AFN engines are suitable for conversion because the oil pan and the right engine mount of the TDi fit the AFN engine (with the engine tilted 50 degrees to the left). Have any changes been made to the AHF in the area of the oil pan/oil pump/engine block compared to the AFN

? Perhaps someone can help me or has already gained experience with conversions. I would be grateful for any information on the subject
