Wiring harness for ESP on AFN TDI

Hello,

I unfortunately have the problem that the engine (AFN TDI) of my beloved convertible no longer starts after a change of the ESP.

We have already tried a number of things, but nothing seems to work. The suspicion now is that it might be due to the wiring harness (possibly a cable break or something similar, as the individual cables don't really look very good anymore).

Can anyone tell me if this cable harness is available separately, or if there is a type of repair kit? It's at least the wiring harness that runs away from the 3-pole connector of the ESP.
Can it be replaced individually, or are there bigger problems?

BZW hat evtl. jemand die Teilenummer des Motorkabelbaumes, an dem die Stecker der ESP ja mit dranhängen? Dann würd ich den einfach komplett tauschen.

Hi,
mit dem Problem im Blindflug am Kabelbaum anzufangen, ist nicht unbedingt zielführend.
Du müßtest den kompletten Motorkabelbaum tauschen, und der ist wahrscheinlich nicht mehr neu zu bekommen. Über den Arbeitsaufwand will ich gar nicht reden.

Erst mal würde ich die E/A Kontakte an den ESP Steckern vermessen.
RLF für die Einspritzanlage ist vorhanden?
Selbstverständlich gehört auch ein Auslesen des MSG und der relevanten Meßwertblöcke dazu. VCDS ist vorhanden?

yes, that happens. Have you bled the fuel lines? Is the pump supplying fuel? Turn on the ELAB?
