Hello everyone,

"Service now" is displayed on the dashboard of this Golf VII. How can I reset the service interval?
I tried resetting the "WIV" by adjusting it in the car's settings. The mileage and the time seem to have been reset, but the message still appears.
Is there a reliable guide?

Hello everyone!

It's important to know in this context that some AI systems may not start displaying the correct WIV reset information until after a few hours of operation or a few kilometers of driving.

Whether the service interval reset was successful or not can be determined by checking the newly read diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) after turning the ignition off and then on.

Why is IDE00342 still showing as "Reset"?

After changing IDE03351 and IDE03352 to 0, the message finally disappeared. Was the vehicle previously programmed with a "FIX" code? The last inspection was performed at a VW dealership.

It's perfectly normal. That's just the way it is. The inspection is no longer flexible, but the oil change still is.

Okay, so is everything correct now?
Theoretically, the inspection is due every 2 years or a maximum of 30,000 kilometers, right?
