Is the 'Elektroumschaltventil' the valve that regulates the boost pressure?

"Elektroumschaltventil" is not actually a common term for what is officially called a "boost pressure limiting solenoid valve."

These devices are also sometimes referred to as EPWs, which stands for electro-pneumatic converter.
