Hello,
I've now created my first HEX-V2 scan, and interestingly, my Golf started showing some errors after only 915 km. Since I'm new to this topic, my question is:
Can I delete the errors first to have a "clean" state, before I start making any changes?
Perhaps someone could take a look at the uploaded scan, thank you.
Best regards,
Pit

Hi . The error entries seem to indicate a transport issue and a dead battery. I would first delete all of them.
The easiest way is to use the "Round Message" function via the button on the Autoscan screen.

Hello Rainer,
I was almost thinking the same thing; it's probably related to the transport process. I'll try to delete it to ensure a verschandeln state. It's also sad that VW doesn't even remove these errors during delivery.
Thank you and best regards.
Pit.

Hello Rainer,
I have now reset all the errors, and it worked perfectly. While browsing the software, I wanted to take a look at the service reset indicator and received the following error: Code: |
SSee attachment.
What do I need to do (I once wanted to disable the headlight cleaning system)?
Best regards and thank you.
Pit.

Hi,
No, the control unit image is an extra feature. Please install the current VCDS release first; version 17.8.0 has been updated with more recent data (20171026).
Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,
I've now installed the new version, but nothing has changed. The error message still appears, and under control unit 9, the code still shows zeros. When I go to coding 07, it says that the control unit does not support that function.
"When unlocking a control unit image, you need a deactivation code. What else can I do?"
Best regards.
Pit.

Hi,
No, a login code is possible, but not mandatory. Please enter control unit address 9, check the boxes for "measured values" and "adjustment," then start the process and email the results.
Best regards, Rainer.
