Fuel Pressure Regulator for Audi A6 4F

Hello.
I have an Audi A6 4F that runs for 7 to 10 seconds and then dies. The error code according to VCDS is P1063, which indicates 'Fuel pressure control - limit exceeded.' What does this error mean? I have already replaced the diesel filter, and the lift pump is working. The Audi has approximately 380,000 km (236,000 miles) on it.
I'm a bit lost at the moment, maybe someone has experienced something similar before?
