Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.9TDI (6L). It's equipped with an H-Turbo Stage 3 kit. The tuning was done without a catalytic converter and with a sports exhaust.
My question is, can you replace the original exhaust system (including the catalytic converter and muffler) with a different one without causing problems for the engine? I'm not an expert, but from my understanding, changing the exhaust system usually only leads to a loss of power.
Thank you and best regards.

Hello,
This question can probably only be answered by the manufacturer of your kit.
Best regards, Rainer.

As Rainer already mentioned. Reputable tuners always consider the entire system when optimizing. If you modify a part of the system, in your case the exhaust system, it can become a source of interference. I would first gather information and make sure. Viele Grüße
Andreas
