Only failed start attempts, which are usually caused by long idle times or fuel shortages, are displayed.
The car is practically brand new, so nothing has been repaired or worked on.
There are no errors stored, except for the failed attempts.

It's perfectly understandable that it locks after three unsuccessful attempts, but if there's no specific error code stored, it should also be possible to unlock it again, for example, when you want to restart the heating system after a repair.

According to the error log, the errors occurred as early as at 9xyz km. Surely, this should have been noticed during the service.

Furthermore, in the case of fuel shortage, the error log explicitly states "fuel shortage." The cause of the error is definitely located elsewhere.

But I think I need to disable the lock to get a more accurate error diagnosis and to have three more attempts to start it.

This is a chain of security conditions. You will not be able to unlock it if there are such error entries. And that is correct.

You will likely need to take your car to an Audi dealership or a qualified service center that specializes in maintaining and repairing auxiliary heaters.

Is there still a warranty on the vehicle? If it has been serviced at Audi dealerships so far, I would like to raise a complaint about the existing error entry from 9xyz km and ask why I wasn't informed about it.

Hi Rainer, maybe you could elaborate on the access permissions again. I just had a case with a standing heater in a T6 where a "too high resistance in the glow plug" error was displayed, and then the heater was locked. After replacing the glow plug, I couldn't clear the error because the heater was still locked, and I couldn't unlock it because I didn't have the necessary access permissions.
