2.0 TDI engine cut out while driving and hasn't started since

Hello everyone,
In December, my Golf 6, which has been sitting in my garage ever since, stopped working while I was driving and wouldn't start again.
I myself am an experienced mechanic, although so far I've only worked on gasoline engines.
This concerns the following motor.
2.0 TDI CR engine code: CBD B, 140 horsepower.

The following errors were displayed in VCDS:
P0091 Fuel metering control valve (N290)
P2295 Fuel pressure control valve (N276)

Subsequently, in December, I replaced these sensors with new ones from Bosch, purchased as accessories. I also completely replaced the fuel pump located at the rear. At the same time, I took a look inside the fuel tank in the engine compartment: NO metal shavings.
Unfortunately, this didn't yield any results, so I was forced to take the car to the VW workshop. They diagnosed a faulty high-pressure pump. However, the workshop didn't have time to fix the car because it was the last day before the Christmas holiday. So, I had to tow the car home and put it in the garage. I spent Christmas without a car and bought a temporary car on the evening of the day after Christmas.
Due to some other issues, the car then fell by the wayside; I had a working one right outside my door anyway.
Now I'm on summer vacation, I've ordered all the new parts, and I've started replacing the high-pressure pump.
Timing belt, water pump, and high-pressure pump installed. While we were at it, we also installed a new EGR valve.
Good news, the engine is now working. I've connected the VCDS and primed the fuel pump three times. Similarly, the throttle valve and EGR system were reset.

Unfortunately, the vehicle is still displaying the exact same errors, and all the connectors are securely attached to the respective sensors.
I'm at a loss now, and I'm running out of ideas. Could it be a problem with the wiring harness or the control unit? I'm stuck and could really use your help.
