Hello fellow enthusiasts, I'm stuck on a problem and could use some help. Maybe you can point me in the right direction?
I would be happy.

I am encountering the following error:
17114 - Gear/Transmission Monitoring.
P0730 - 35-00 - Incorrect gear ratio.

Mileage: 295,000 km

I would be grateful for any tips.

Good evening.

Do you also have an error image for that error entry? Does the transmission shift normally?

The error can have several causes.

It is usually caused by old, contaminated transmission fluid.

However, there may also be a mechanical fault in the transmission. Stuck or jammed solenoid valves are also possible.

Has the transmission ever been flushed?

Best regards,

Michael.

Hi,
The transmission shifts very harshly and late when you put it in "D" (drive).

To my knowledge, a flush/rinse has not yet been performed.
Vielen Dank.

Then I would definitely perform at least one transmission fluid change. When was the last time it was changed?
Viele Grüße
Andreas

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no documentation available for this. We have owned the vehicle for approximately one year.

Best regards, Kickpanther.
Vielen Dank.

Okay, let's assume the worst. Why don't you do the oil change now? It can't hurt with a long-life oil system, and it's definitely the cheapest option. It's something you can easily do yourself, and then you can see what happens next.
