I will soon be installing the complete Meyle HD control arm kit on the aforementioned Audi, and I will also be replacing the suspension at the same time.

1. What is the shank size used for the rear shock absorber?
"The upper control arms have already been replaced, but they have broken again. Therefore, I can no longer rely on the current alignment. Is there a specific angle requirement for the installation? How can I ensure the correct initial alignment?"

You'll find the most reliable and comprehensive information about the required specifications through the vehicle-specific search (using the VIN) in ERWIN. You can download the model-specific manuals. And then, you need to use the shock absorbers that are appropriate for the specific vehicle configuration.

I'm interested in both recordings of the shock absorber pistons. The front ones should require a 6mm or 7mm Allen key. The rear ones, as usual, have a pin profile.

If you don't say anything specific, all we can do is guess.
Vorne oder hinten? Inside or outside?
Should I press the control arm out of the hub or the control arm joint out of the wheel bearing housing?
Most printing blocks can be carved by hand. That's how I did it. You just need to adapt the design to the material you're using.
Based on the questions, I can only assume that you are working without the original RLF (Richtlinien für den Luftfahrtflugbetrieb - Guidelines for Aircraft Operation). This means you don't have any specified take-off moments, angle settings, or regulations regarding the empty weight configuration.
One hour of Erwin (siehe Fehlerdatenbank) access costs €8.33, including the "fairytale tax." During that time, you can download the complete dataset for the vehicle.

It is done. What a job... But the result is convincing. The car now handles through the curves with the Meyle HD control arm kit, causing all objects that are not securely fastened to fly through the interior icon_biggrin.gif.

The upper control arms had already been replaced in the past and had broken again. My suspicion was confirmed that they had been installed in the wrong position. In the process, they even damaged the thread of the upper mounting bracket of the shock absorber, so I had to replace that as well.

The purchase of the Hazet spring strut tool set and the Kukko extractor has proven to be worthwhile.
