Hello,
I'm experiencing the problem again where the intake manifold is leaking and causing a loss of boost pressure.
The outlet is located where the swirl flap's wave exits and connects to the actuation linkage. That's why I've already replaced the intake manifold module once, but I don't want to have to do that every three years.
Therefore, the 1. Question: Does anyone know a simple way to fix it myself?
Alternatively, I would completely remove the swirl flaps, which should be relatively straightforward since there is no position sensor for them.
Therefore, the 2. Question: Does anyone have a better idea for plugging those two holes? I was thinking of using one screw each with a little bit of silicone sealant.

Hi, you can also simply use an intake manifold from a BKD engine. There were also some made without swirl flaps, and those were made of aluminum.
Best regards,
Sören

Thanks for the tip, I just installed it and it fits perfectly.
Valuable information!
It will become clear tomorrow afternoon whether this has also resolved my persistent issue with low charging speed.
