I adjusted the central locking system in my A4 to automatically lock. So far, so good. Now, the central locking only unlocks again when you remove the ignition key. But what happens in the event of an accident or other emergency? This is very important for me to know. Who can help?

Does this apply to all VAG cars? I'm actually considering having this coding done, because I think it's very useful, especially with this feature.

And, does the "pulling out the key" trick work everywhere? Because that would be extremely useful.

Do the workshops actually know the code that we are familiar with, or would they normally reject a request like this as impossible?

Yes, the method for unlocking the car after an accident also works for VAG vehicles.

The codes were posted by Michael in the problem/solution forum, for both Audi and VW.

To the best of my knowledge, the crash shut-off function (central locking system on) works on all VAG vehicles.
