Hello,
short feedback:
Since the last action, the oil pressure light has been...
did not come again.
Therefore, we're going to leave things as they are for now.
Perhaps the brief start-up occurred without the oil pressure switch engaged.
something was washed out.
Thank you again for your help.

Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, the lamp arrived again.
Thanks to the tip from Chli1976, I...
me in the switchboard enclosure / adjustments.
checked.
"No offset" was entered here.
Then I set the value to 1750.
After that, the warning disappeared.
Question: Was the offset entry incorrect?
I once read that an oil pressure of approximately 1.2...
measured at standard conditions (e.g., 1800 RPM?).
Can anyone tell me something about offset values?

In my opinion, the offset is the value that is added to the default value.
For example, the default value is 1500 rpm, where the oil pressure is measured. If you apply an offset of 1750, the measurement will only start at 3250 rpm.
I've also checked the oil pressure on mine. It's about 0.5 bar at idle with hot oil, but it doesn't go above 2 bar even at higher RPMs. I've already replaced the oil pump, but there's no improvement. While I was at it, I also measured the main bearing clearance, which is 0.14mm. I think that's a bit too much. However, I haven't been able to find any specified values for that. VCDS

Hi,
Perhaps the values from the 1.6L DDYA engine (applicable from around engine code CLHA?) would be helpful.
- Radial play: 0.03 - 0.08 mm;
- Wear limit: 0.17 mm;
The values for the crankshaft bearing journals and connecting rod bearing journals probably won't fit.

Hello everyone. So, how did things turn out with the oil pressure issue?
This engine also has a pressure-regulating valve that switches the pressure between two ranges depending on the engine speed. It's possible that the valve is electrically functioning correctly, so no error message is displayed, but it might be mechanically stuck and not switching to the higher pressure range.
