Hello,
The level of distress increased again to the point that I started further investigations.
The two spray hoses from the pump, going upwards, were inspected in the relevant area and were found to be in good condition. Furthermore, the expansion is actually quite complex; the Radhausschale needs to be removed, and if you're unlucky, the bumper as well.
Fortunately, I was able to remove the front part of the Radha valve for the inspection, and then the hoses could be seen/checked up to the height of the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
I saved myself the trouble of taking the test, because water doesn't flow uphill for nothing, and even if there was a leak, it couldn't be the cause of the container emptying while it was stationary.
After partial filling with wash water concentrate, the only blue drops I could find were directly at the pump's hose connection. There was quite a bit of dripping.
The gasket in the fitting appeared slightly compressed in one area, and my first attempt was to replace it.
After about 15 minutes of fiddling with a paperclip and various O-rings, I, frustrated, decided to simply insert a piece of silicone tubing directly into the pump nipple and the cut-off spray hose. Secured with cable ties, just to be safe. Now, no more drops can be seen.
Therefore, I am confident that it really works, whether it does or not will become clear in the next few days.
Best regards, Rainer
