The red hose mentioned earlier was it!

"Was ist das?" - what does that mean?

The remaining three hoses in the charge air system have already been ordered and will be replaced.

To put it another way, this hose was completely soft and I replaced it with a new one. Immediately after the replacement, the engine runs again as if nothing had ever happened.

As a precaution, given the age of the remaining hoses in the charge air system, I'm going to replace those as well.

In your log, the target value for the boost pressure is 193 mbar, while the actual value is 2193 mbar.

If it were reversed, it might be conceivable that internal hose ruptures or Venturi effects could lead to a subsequent collapse of the hose.

You yourself posted the proof that the thing about the "soft" hose is nonsense.
Your soft hose might look unsightly, but it doesn't cause the engine control unit to generate a target value of 193 mbar of boost pressure. icon_idea.gif

That makes me think more of amateur modifications or cable problems/short circuits.

Rainer, what can I say?
It runs across the entire RPM range, has power, and won't stall.
I'm just reporting on what I did/exchanged.
There were no foreign objects found in the intake system.

There's no such thing as tuning!
Neither through a lookup table nor through a box, etc.
